The scrolling thing is even stupider than just being inverted: the scroll direction setting applies to both the trackpad and the mouse wheel. There's no way to make both feel like they're scrolling in the correct direction. Up on the mouse wheel should scroll up and down should scroll down, but the trackpad should behave like you're gripping a physical object and pushing it up to scroll down and pulling it down to scroll up. That's what's natural to me anyway. I'm sure others will be used to different behaviors. But my point is it should be possible to configure the scroll wheel and trackpad independently to account for all the different preferences.
