- myroon5 4y agoPreviously wanted to generate estimates of these gantt charts without deployments/credentials by combining resource dependency graphs: https://github.com/aws-cloudformation/cfn-lint/pull/1411 https://github.com/aws-cloudformation/cfn-lint/pull/1411 https://github.com/aws-cloudformation/cfn-lint-visual-studio-code/pull/106 https://github.com/aws-cloudformation/cfn-lint-visual-studio... https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=kddejong.vscode-cfn-lint https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=kddejong... with average resource type provisioning times: https://github.com/PatMyron/cloud/issues/10 https://github.com/PatMyron/cloud/issues/10
- trogdorunique 4y agoI like this work - I'm checking out the vs code plugin now. I originally wrote cfplot to chase deployment times in templates that others had created. Inspecting the stack itself eliminated much of my headache around tracing conditional nested stacks.
- rootforce 4y agoI wonder how many people are still using CF in a way that would make this tool useful.
- dragonwriter 4y agoIf you use CF at all (even behind serverless transform, CDK, or some other translation layer), this would be useful, since it's a chart of what actually gets executed.
