If we hit another great depression the people with a bunker filled with dry food will be feeling pretty smug. Not sure the guns will help much though.

  In any scenario where food is short a gun would be essential. If I have a gun and no food, and you have food and no gun, pretty soon I will have food and a gun and you will have neither.

    That didn't really pan out in the first great depression did it? Or were there roving biker gangs raiding undefended homesteads

      Weren't really people starving to death then.
