Plus, it's inscrutable and malware developers seem to know it better than legit developers do.
- phendrenad2 4y agoThere's no reason for a legit developer to know the registry format, as you're supposed to interact with it using syscalls. Most of this article takes place in a parallel universe where Microsoft forgot to provide syscalls to access the registry, and you have to open its file store directly or something.
