Wouldn’t the alternative be:
<article>
<name>Hammer</name>
<description>
Buy this and everything will start to look like a nail.
</description>
</article>
And shouldn’t the doc version have classes for, if not all then at least the hammer div?
- TekMol 4y agoCustom elements need to feature a "-" in the name.
- eyelidlessness 4y agoOnly if you need to define (JS) behavior for them. If you don’t, any arbitrary name will do (and will be an instance of HTMLUnknownElement[1]). Using hyphenated names is still advised, to avoid name collisions with future standard elements. 1: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/HTMLUnknownElement https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/HTMLUnknown...
- dragonwriter 4y agoI feel like this specific case is better served by: <dl> <dt>Hammer <dd>Buy this and everything will start to look like a nail. </dl>
