- Wildgoose 4y agoIt may be highly sarcastic, but it points out a genuine problem that every company will face before long, namely the demographic shift of fewer young people entering the workforce in all jobs at all levels. Couple this with already declining numbers of people studying computer science and you can see why all tech companies are going to have a very real problem very soon.
- gsatic 4y agoIt doesnt matter as much as people think. We have 6 inch chimp brains. That puts a hard limit on how much individuals or groups can utilize technology tools. Tech has grown at a much faster rate than ppl can actually use it optimally. There is just a simple choice - pretend people can keep pace or accept they cant.
- hulitu 4y agoTech has declined in later years. Instead of updating a tiny cursor we update the whole screen.
- vsskanth 4y agoPretty low quality article IMO. Really hard to read with all the snark. TLDR less people are entering the tech workforce. Doesn't say if it's just the US or on a global scale. Tech companies would have the least difficulty hiring top talent at a global scale, so its a bit hard for me to make sense of intuitively.
- richliss 4y agoAgreed - amazing that someone could get paid to write that crap.
