Mac sales indicating extent of supply constraints. MacBook Pro lead times were multiple months back in April.
- steve_adams_86 4y agoI know myself and a few other people settled on M1 MacBook Airs rather than waiting for Pros around that time. Part of the thought process was "what the hell, they're great computers and a Pro would cost n% more". I was fine compromising performance for having a machine I needed when I needed it, and saving some money in the interim. It didn't make sense to wait several months when the M1 Airs are already great computers. If this was a common sentiment, they lost around $1500 from me alone, and perhaps a similar amount from many other people.
