Senate moves forward with EV tax credit reform; Tesla to be included back

While the Bill language goes into further specifics; this strikes me as interesting callout as many German (BMW, Volkswagen), Japanese (Honda, Toyota), and Korean (Kia, Hyundai) car brands in America have a larger US manufacturing base than GeneralMotors.
- smileysteve 4y agoOne of the comments is about how this is subsidizes the wealthy; If the senate is listening; work with the taxis and rideshares and public transit; if the host vehicle is electric, extend savings to end users; It's a working alternative to the infrastructure and time requirements of public transit. Personal mobility leads to economic mobility; and without a public transit option, insurance + a monthly payment is a high bar to enter.
