- swyx 4y agoif it was going to, it would have already. its ok, excellent tech doesnt always have to take the world by storm.
- cultofmetatron 4y agome too, built my startup i elixir and aside from a few small inconveniences, its been a knock out of the park. 1. developer time sits between nodejs and rails 2. performance smashes nodejs and rails by a lot. 3. genserver/OTP is seriously awesome and lets you solve problems in hours that would take days and meetings in nodejs or rails. 4. channels/websockets are second to none. rails and node are a joke compared to what phoenix offers.
