Pineapple pizza is hated but also loved. Some people really hate it, some people really love it. It seems that whenever many pizzas are being ordered for a large group, at least one of them is always a pineapple pizza. Everybody has a chance to try it and fall into one of those two camps. Personally I think it's a bit odd, but I don't hate it. I don't hate it, but I never order it for myself either. I think pairing the pineapple with ham bridges the savory/sweet gap well enough, but pineapple alone sounds pretty bad.
