[...] Messages uses on-device machine learning to analyze image attachments and determine if a photo appears to contain nudity. The feature is designed so that Apple doesn’t get access to the photos."
- drdaeman 4y agoThis. If a device I own (even if just nominally) does something I've instructed it to, and nothing more - that's fine by me. Computers doing their job, honestly. If a device is programmed to report on me to someone and I haven't explicitly asked it for this - that's not fine, no matter the intent.
