The point is, no, it would not be surprising if there were some CIA careerists people among Google's ~150000 employees. But it's more notable if there's a high concentration of CIA careerists in the ~500 people working in the trust and safety division. And especially if the leadership of that division is heavy in CIA careerists (it is). They decide what should be permitted, and that is not simply a question of expertise.
