It would be interesting to make a study about users that do not consent to report metrics and the UIs they prefer. They might as well be a consistent slice of the user base but invisible when decisions are made.
- hulitu 4y agoNobody gives a damn about those studies. They even don't need studies - they can look at bug reports. It's not that this issues are new. Just looking at MS there are bugs which are not fixed for years.
- richardfey 4y agoThen I suggest you do read some studies about where incentives are in open source development: spoiler: they're not in closing bug reports ASAP.
