He specifically mentioned the Chinese government; therefore, his comment was specifically not racist. The Chinese government is not a race. It's just a bad government. All races have them at times.
- bigcat12345678 4y agoBad? Compared to which one better? Or just because it's Chinese? Now back to square one?
- kbelder 4y agoYou're misunderstanding. Criticizing a government is not criticizing a race. You criticizing a government because of its policies, oppressiveness, and so on. None of that has anything to do with race. The Chinese have every ability to have a good government as any other race, because race has nothing to do with it. They just happen to have a bad government, compared to a number of other better governments (of all races). Heck, look at Taiwan. Chinese people, much better government.
- mike00632 4y agoIt's not criticizing a government to say "Chinese scientists". Also, much of the research in the Wuhan lab was being conducted by American scientists of Chinese descent for American academic institutions--no relation to the Chinese government. The entire conspiracy theory is held together by racism.
- bigcat12345678 4y ago* First, I am fully supporting constructive criticism. * A word "bad" is not constructive criticism, because it's not backed by facts. * You misunderstood my comment. As I was asking the facts to support Chinese government to be bad, and the comparison to other nations with similar sizes. Of course you cannot compare Chinese government vs. Singapore government, and claim Chinese government is bad.
