Zoom limits free 1:1 meetings to 40 minutes
- ColinWright 4y agoWhen I have a choice, I always use Gather Town and never use Zoom. You can use GT as you use Zoom, and it has many more features that aren't often useful, but when they are useful, they are indispensable. Add to that the ability to have embedded whiteboards, and an easy way to navigate between different conversation groups, I really don't know why anyone would choose Zoom. Other video chat platforms are available, but for ad hoc 1-1 meetings, or especially for larger gatherings where people want adaptive sub-groups, or "webinar"-type meetings, Gather Town does it for me every time.
