It's ironic, really -- those who benefited the most from government ties are so quick to decry "government corruption". Such is the history of corruption, too: one foot in the government, one foot outside of it. Both parts are important. I think, historically, the government is the weaker part in Argentina, at the beck and call of those actually calling the shots.
