I send iA Writer an email about once a year begging for the option to allow creating notes with date-stamped filenames (e.g. `2022-07-27.md`) but I think my emails are being redirected into the void.
(They do have shortcuts support, though, for whatever it's worth...)
- kstrauser 4y agoI wrote a shortcut to create a new note every day, but admit it's a bit of a pain in the neck. Are you sure about Shortcuts support, though? It doesn't appear as a supported app in Shortcuts, and their website only documents x-callback-url.
- hairofadog 4y agoOh, I just use the x-callback-url – I guess I didn't realize there was another kind of Shortcuts support, sorry! They do have a couple of sample shortcuts for clipping web content: https://ia.net/writer/support/general/urlschemes#ios-shortcuts https://ia.net/writer/support/general/urlschemes#ios-shortcu... But yeah, I have one that creates a datestamped note, but it's not super useful if you're not already in the app.
