Manuals are rulesets, you can evaluate if they’re being followed or not. How do you do that for culture?

  What do you believe the difference is in evaluating whether someone is following the rule of "Be kind" and whether someone is contributing to a culture of kindness?

    I think both are equally ambiguous, and I don't think a "Be kind" clause in a contract would hold up in court.

      Are you under the impression that, every time someone is fired for violating a rule in an employee manual, lawyers get involved?
