What's going on?
- bubblethink 4y agoThis is the stripped down version of the USICA/Competes act that has been languishing for the last year and a bit. The republicans on the house side did not support those prior bills either, so presumably that continues here. The senate was lukewarm with the prior bills whereas they support this stripped down version better.
- Cipater 4y agoThe House is incredibly partisan and there seems to be a strategy of bloc voting. It would be interesting to see a tabulation of the voting patterns on Dem-sponsored bills vs Rep-sponsored ones.
