£300 is a bit steep

Nostalgia product aimed at 40+yo with disposable income, I guess. Depending on the build quality I might bag one for myself!

Build quality looks good. For me the purchase cost isn’t off-putting. The thought of not having time to do anything with it is what makes me think it’s a bad purchase.

I am in your target group and still find it way steep for something which can be easily substituted by any mobile you have in your hand and BT gamepad/keyboard for 1/10 of the price, if used for gaming. Anyway nobody would buy ZX Spectrum clone for its original horror keyboard, so it's not like you are buying it for nostalgia after hardware.
