Yeah, I like JSON on disk too. There's some "gotchas" to avoid to make it safe though like atomic renaming or fsyncing the file and its parent directory. But as

Yeah, I like JSON on disk too. There's some "gotchas" to avoid to make it safe though like atomic renaming or fsyncing the file and its parent directory. But as long as you avoid those and don't have a lot of data then JSON-on-disk works great.
