Maybe you did good compared to a dud four interviews back. Then after you I interview someone who answered every question I asked correctly and in great depth. They are also pleasant. They get the offer. You are not taking a pass/fail test, you are in a marathon and the first person who crosses the finish line gets an offer. Your weakness is they got to the finish line before you did.
