"Compelling evidence" and "It did come from the wet market, period." are a far cry from one another. Not disagreeing with this evidence that points to the origin of the outbreak.
It will be interesting to see the historical forensics develop as we actively combat COVID and future SARS-type viruses on a global scale.
- drran 4y agoIt VERY unlikely that there were two separate events of transmission of two different variants of SARS-CoV2 virus. It looks like a) virus originated somewhere else and China was just a good place for virus to spread, b) it was two separate deliberate attempts to spread virus in China.
