I kinda wonder if Netflix has the same problem. My tv is not hooked up to surround sound yet I can’t tell Netflix that this device is stereo only so every time I play something that has a 5.1 audio track, that is what is being streamed.
- mecha_ghidorah 4y agoNetflix sometimes has stereo audio tracks if you look at the list of possible audio tracks, and other times not. I don't have a soundbar or 5.1 speakers so I'm aware of it
- wodenokoto 4y agoThe thing is it defaults to 5.1, and there is no way of telling Netflix that the current device only has stereo, so please default to stereo.
- mecha_ghidorah 4y agoYeah I wish I could make it default to stereo, it's very annoying
