Wow, that's quite a reversal. What did folks say when you refunded them?

  Many were disappointed, but they understood. It was my first product I ever charged for after two years. I had a few grand in pre-sales to incentivize me to do it too. But on reflection, I felt like I was almost "stealing" from these people who needed it more than I did. They were just getting started on their learning journeys to get into tech. I already have a Big Tech salary, I should probably be the last person who needs someone's money. While one of my goals is to work for myself as a one-person product / business, this was not it.
