Cowboy and cat wearing white jeans on a farm, low angle, photorealistic, sunset
- dusted 4y agoIt's crazy how good it is at some things. It's going to be interesting to see the effect it has on human artists, whether it will replace or compliment, or spawn an entirely new marked/field. I could imagine how "style" artistry could become a thing, where one makes not only concrete pictures, but develops new styles, that the AI can then use to generate content in. Maybe this will set artists free from producing concepts and content, to more purely produce concepts.. In programming today, we have much that problem, a lot of programmers are merely plummers, chaining together libraries to achieve the end product.. Library authors are slightly higher up on the "doing actual programming" scale.. While, I'd consider authors of original and new algorithms and concepts to be the main contributers to furthering the field (tl;dr: the Umpth site written in react is not furthering the field as much as the framework that eventually replaces react, or the new type of internet application that finally rids us of the current abysmal state of "web applications") [edit] also, wtf?! I didn't realize that the text accompanying the image is entirely unrelated.. Is this a deliberate attack or a coincidence?
