Yeah, that's also how I feel. Though, imagine being able to leave behind the responsibility for all the technical debt you've accrued -- must be nice :) On the other hand, I don't want to live like nothing matters. I want to build stuff. And I want to care about technical debt and keep it manageable. Beyond a certain point, money is just numbers on a bank account or in stock portfolio. They have minimal impact on my life.
