You can go to the Helium Explorer and look at nodes and their earnings directly: https://explorer.helium.com/ https://explorer.helium.com/
Zoom in, click a cell, click a node, click "30D" and you'll see the amount of HNT and how much that is worth at the current market rate. I didn't see any $6,500 nodes.
- tgsovlerkhgsel 4y agoThe Tweet seems to claim that $6.5k is the total monthly revenue of the network. The explorer seems to claim $2M (under "DC spent").
- kevingadd 4y agoRight, and the tweet thread explains that the 2m number is inflated by the hotspots that are being activated (activating hotspots is expensive, but the activation fees are one-time)
