Anecdote, but I recently had to deal with WGS for medical reasons. We ended up doing a commercial provider yo expedite the process, and it cost about $2000, with results and interpretation in 1 month. I’m skeptical that Sequencing provides the same level of a) WGS fidelity, and b) the same level of interpretation and cross reference of alleles to known or suspected pathogenic variants.
