- bpye 4y agoWhilst I agree in abstract, I imagine closer ties with the US would be hard to stomach for many in Canada for a while given the last presidency…
- Teever 4y agoCanada is effectively a vassal state of The US. any closer union between the two would result in Canada becoming a full fledged American state. As a Canadian I feel that the current arrangement gives Canada most of the perks of America with very few of the downsides.
