what is it with this overzealous desire to control what other people do? "some people cant have animals without abusing them? NOBODY CAN HAVE ANIMALS", "some people who are violent use guns to shoot innocent people? NOBODY CAN HAVE GUNS!".
in response, i propose we ban every single commentor on hn, as some clearly cannot behave, there may aswell not be a board at all. Is this ridiculous? if so, why isnt the other insane overreaches?
- Ekaros 4y agoI wonder it too. There is so many people who want to stop others from eating meat. Or burning coal to produce electricity for their needs... Horrible isn't it.
- xboxnolifes 4y agoYour given examples are not the same. The person you replied to is talking about some people misusing something and all people being punished. Your examples, at the very least the coal example, is something that is bad no matter who uses it. It is not a matter of communal punishment for individual use.
