It is idiotic to stigmatize homosexual activity then.

  If 99% of cases are being caused by some types of homosexual activity (are you implying that drug-fueled promiscuity with multiple anonymous partners is the only way to be gay?) then it is absolutely right to stigmatize it. Look at COVID; we "stigmatized" things that were responsible for less than 1% of cases and that was "following the science." How is this different?
