I was visiting a lot of Europe a few months ago and 90% of the fast food restaurants have moved exclusively to kiosk ordering. One thing I noticed is that the kiosks are all set back a good distance from the kitchen. A McDonald's I stopped at had a row of kiosks against the wall lining the entire length of the restaurant; probably 10 kiosks 3-4 feet apart. I'm curious if they discovered the same thing about grease when installed on/close to the front counter.
