They're about 50% likely to be reversible after 5 years. That's not what we generally mean when we say something is "reversible". It's a permanent procedure that can sometimes be reversed.
- gnicholas 4y agoIs IVF still an option when it cannot be reversed surgically? I realize this is much more expensive; I'm just wondering since I've heard about the reversibility issues and didn't know if that means you're completely SOL.
- patmcc 4y agoI think there are procedures for removing sperm directly from the testicles, yeah. So potentially there are other options if reversal fails.
