I've found Berlin to be a bit of a cluterfuck. I stay in Kruezburg near the Kotti so this probably skews my perceptions. Everyday there is a battle between pedestrians, bicyclists, and cars. Each group fighting each other. I agree that almost every traditional German speaks English but a lot of the Turkish decent Germans don't.
