Careful with that recommendation. I've got a friend from the eastern part of Europe (if you still consider it part of Europe in the first place). He came to DE on one of those things and is currently fighting an expensive lawsuit to be able to stay. He is a great artist (musician) and earns more money than I did in DE as a developer, but for some reason he's still supposed to 'go home' now. Yes, this is a single data point and you should not believe random strangers on the internet.
