The consolidation of wealth/power (which are synonymous anyways) is super dangerous and getting worse. Aside- Yongyea used a word in a video today I hadn't heard in so long it legitimately worried me- 'profiteering'. It perfectly describes our entire society now, but it was frowned upon when I was younger (80s-90s). Like calling the rich 'elite'. Our language has even been weaponized against us. I'd say our entire society is corrupt.
