I must have read that Better Basic book hundreds of times as a kid. So nostalgic to see those graphics again! Not sure how much of it I really understood as I was pretty young but no doubt played a big part in getting me into programming. Some of their books on other topics were awesome too I seem to recall.
- adamddev1 4y agoYes me too exactly! What brought back waves of nostalgia in particular were the pictures of robots storing variables in the boxes. I remember these were so fascinating to read, bringing the code alive.
- tomduncalf 4y agoYes the robots and the boxes was the one I remembered most clearly! And also the graphics bit at the back with the shape made out of lines, I used to think that was so cool haha.
