Are you recommending zstd based on compression speed and ratio only? Because as the linked article explains, those are not the only criteria. How does zstd rate with everything else?
- usr1106 4y agoYes, I felt that's the biggest deficiency of the article , not covering zstd. Some comment here says that the author of the article disapproves zstd with similar arguments as for xz. Have not verified the claim.
