Push Notifications Are Abused to Deliver Fraudulent Links
- josephcsible 4y agoSo the chain went like this: link in PDF -> URL 1 -> push notification -> URL 2. What was the advantage to the attacker of doing that, rather than just having the link in the PDF go directly to URL 2? Also, > Press "Allow" to verify, that you are not a robot I assume that everyone reading this article knows that no legitimate CAPTCHA will ever ask you to do that. How can we teach this kind of thing to the rest of the world?
