His departure is likely 95% parenthood related as he suggests. It’s a time you can never relive and I encourage folks to take time off to enjoy it. I worked too much and I have regrets. So 95% parenthood - and maybe 5% ish the fact all companies are getting hammered on valuations / stock and we are heading into a recession. The time when we could use good strong leadership the most is also the time leaders take a break. So 95% parenthood… and 5% “the economy” perhaps.
