I had at least one photo with one of my cats in my last set of dating profile photos. The goal isn’t to get the most responses, it’s to get the right ones. The premise of the study is flawed, IMO, assuming the goal is to be broadly popular rather than getting a smaller batch of more likely matches. Note: now married to a woman who is equally fond of cats.
