Good point. Cultural fit is very important. Most creative companies seem to have a bias against "suits". Given the situation that they invite you despite/because of your more "unconventional" background, they are most likely not looking for a "suite character". Btw, I would love to see your CV/application letters since you are obviously doing something right with your applications.
