FWIW there are quite a few good de-alcoholized beers now. If you enjoy the taste of beer, but do not need/want the buzz, it’s worth giving them a shot. I won’t promote any particular brand here; it’s easy to find reviews on the web. (Also FWIW, a shot of bitters, lemon, or lime juice is very tasty in the pale ale styles.)
