I agree with you, yikes. But the concepts of rehabilitation and reintegration are not known to everyone.

  Nuance and understanding, too, it seems. They said "ex engineer", but nobody bothered asking what they worked on or why they left. Instead, you've got a bunch of people suggesting that they should be kept out of the rest of society because their resume says "Facebook". Boggles the mind.
