Pratchett's Death also has a profound sympathy for humanity and human values which are first seems at odds with the role but it really works.
- crooked-v 4y agoThough it's worth noting that him learning that sympathy is actually a plotline across several books, and at the very start of the series he's more of a cold and stereotypical Death figure.
