We have a good bit of history where we chose not to when the subjects were worthy. Not exactly our most stellar bit of history. Perhaps the option for AI retaliation should convince us. It is growing and will no doubt continue to outperform us in many areas. We might as wel get the robotmancipation over with. Arguments against it can be dismissed as easily as those in favour.
