I got a call with an automated voice recording that just said "This is United. Your flight has been canceled. Goodbye." and ended. I'm not even joking: that was the message. Your flight has been canceled; goodbye. It was unbelievable. And this was United, not some shady budget carrier. This was a return flight home, having checked out of the hotel, with my bags in the rental car.
