Given the UK is falling as a world power and consumer market, won't this just lead to all major tech companies pulling everything out of the UK? I can't imagine Google/Meta/Amazon/Apple complying with this bullshit.

- weare138 4y agoBut like the article mentions these companies already make compromises for countries like China and compliance would have a minimal financial impact for these companies versus pulling out of a major market. I have little to no confidence in these corporations to do the right thing.
