- jjk166 4y agoMore likely game controllers over the past few decades have evolved to be really optimized for controlling the position and orientation of an entity in 3D space which happens to be the same problem for characters in videogames and many objects in the real world, and their ubiquity makes them both cheap and easy to integrate.
